Zack Matzanias
Zack Matzanias recently obtained his real estate sales license following a distinguished thirty-three-year career in banking. He spent most of his career at Truist and its predecessor bank, BB&T. Zack has extensive commercial banking experience and spent the last fifteen years in commercial credit risk management, providing solutions that met client needs while protecting the bank’s capital. His experience includes exposure to numerous commercial real estate projects, including multifamily, hospitality and acquisition and development financing. Zack understands the nuances of a real estate purchase and risks posed by economic conditions and interest rate risk.
Zack is a native of Richmond. He received his BA from the College of William and Mary and an MBA, with a concentration in Finance, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Zack earned and still maintains the prestigious Credit Risk Certification from the Risk Management Associates, the country’s premier commercial banking trade organization.
